[News] ‘Iris 2’ Becomes First Production to Shoot in Angkor Wat Since ‘Tomb Raider’.

KBS’ Iris 2 has moved on from Hungary and is now shooting at the famed ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The drama’s production agency revealed the news on December 14 and added that Iris 2 is the first production to be held at the ruins since the movie Tomb Raider filmed there back in 2001.
The location was chosen to give a mysterious and majestic feel to its shoot and the production is promising to go all out for the scenes filmed there.
At Angkor Wat, Lee Bum Soo and Im Soo Hyang’s characters will meet for the first time, while Lee Bum Soo and B2ST’s Yoon Du Jun will hold a thrilling chase scene there.
A source from the drama’s production shared, “With Lee Bum Soo’s charisma and Yoon Du Jun’s passion, we were able to shoot a heart-pounding scene. In particular, Yoon Du Jun’s acting for the action scenes were beyond our expectations and he earned a lot of our praise.”
Iris 2 premieres on February 13 on KBS.
