Actor Song Joong Ki recently revealed that he had suffered from allergic responses from kimchi while shooting his latest movie.

On the episode of KBS2′s Entertainment News that aired on December 15, Song Joong Ki, selected as the hottest actor in 2012, was interviewed.

When he was asked if he had any difficulties doing a scene in which he eats food with his hands, the Werewolf Boy star replied, “Yes, I suffered from allergic responses from kimchi.”

He revealed that eating kimchi with hands even brought him out in a rash. Song said, “It made me really itchy around my mouth. It must have been the salt contained in kimchi, which gave me a bad rash.”

However, thanks to the huse success of the film, the actor seemed to have recovered from the symptom. “Luckily it’s gone now since the movie started to receive positive responses,” said song with a big triumphant smile.
