Through almost two years of shooting, I hear that they have become 'comrades'. In the drama, the ‘Four Gods’ protected the leading character played by BYJ. Just like their roles in the drama, while radiating the strong personality of her or his own, each one has deepened the bond.

The story of the drama is that Damdeok , a king of Koguryo, through the fateful encounters with the reincarnationsof four gods, getting over the difficulties, grew to be a real king. How Damdeok would build the bond with four gods is one of the highlights of the drama.

E Ji Ah (27), who played the role of Sujini, the reincarnation of Jujak was greatly admired by Korean people who are meticulous and fussy about acting. They said, “She doesn’t look like a new face.” She made her debut in this drama, and on top of that she was directly cast as a heroine co-starring with BYJ, however, she boldly immersed into the drama. Boyish but cute character of hers is very popular among girls too.

“It was my very first acting. Three years ago, I found the job of actors, that expresses various emotions, very attractive. Then I happened to have auditions. Now I think it was just destined.”

Having expressive countenance and a lot of nerves may have something to do with her upbringing. After she graduated from elementary school (in Korea) , she grew up in L.A. At an American university she majored in graphic design. As for being supple and natural, Sujini and I are pretty much similar. I have a younger brother who calls me ‘hyeong’ (older brother). (laughs) Towards the end of the drama, I had a difficult time to express Sujini’s changes, who accepted her fate, with suppressive acting.”

She is good at art designUntil she got this major role, she went through thirty auditions. Before the shooting she spent a year for the special training of archery and horseback riding. As her efforts bore fruit, she accomplished the violent action scenes herself.

เธอต้องผ่านการออดิชั่นถึง 30 ครั้ง ก่อนถ่ายทำเธอใช้เวลาร่วมปีในการฝึกยิงธนู ฝึกขี่ม้า จากการฝึกอย่างหนักเธอจึงเล่นฉากเสี่ยงตายด้วยตัวเอง

“Such hard training, I won’t be able to make it through again. (laughs) Originally I like sports and I’m good at snowboarding. As the shooting took a long time I was not impatient. I was, rather, able to control myself toward the pressure.”

Having co-starred with BYJ, the incident that left her with the deepest impression was when he injured his finger.

Later we knew his ligament was torn, and I was really impressed by my senior, who wouldn’t worry anyone and continued acting without showing his pain.”

She is cast as a female lead again in the next drama. On the other hand, she is interested in art and is showing her delicate sensibility in her official site she designed herself.

เธอได้รับเลือกให้เป็นดารานำอีกครั้งในละครเรื่องต่อไป เธอยังมีความสนใจในเรื่องศิลปะ และแสดงฝีมือของเธอไว้ในเว็บไซต์ของเธอที่เธอออกแบบเองอีกด้วย

“I am not particular about the beautiful character and I wish to merge myself into any role to express one’s feelings. Along with acting I would like to work on art."
