[Movie] Jang Keun Suk in One Missed Call : Final (2006)

It’s just popped up in my mind that I never blog about this movie of JKS! And I think some fans of JKS also forget that he starred in this movie (or even don’t know^^). Actually, JKS is an international actor since 5 years ago, didn’t he? Because this is the Japanese Movie!

One Missed Call :Final (Chakushin Ari: Final) is the 3rd episode of the One Missed Call franchise, released in 2006. This horror movie can make you feel panic every time you hear your phone rings (obviously, that cannot effect with JKS himself as we can see that he really likes talk on his phone^^). In this movie JKS acted as Jinu, a korean boyfriend of Emiri, the female lead of this story. Don’t’ worry about his Japanese language (I know he can speak some Japanese), because he is deaf and use hand sign language all the times!!! (haha…he should really desperate that he can’t talk a word…so pitiful JKS^^)

ดิฉันเพิ่งนึกขึ้นได้ว่ายังไม่เคยเขียนเกี่ยวกับหนังเรื่องนี้เลย และคิดว่าแฟนๆ บางคนของจางกึนซ็อกอาจลืมไปแล้วว่าเขาเคยแสดงภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ไว้ (หรือบางคนอาจไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำ) จะว่าไปจางกึนซ็อกก็เกอินเตอร์กับเขาตั้งแต่เมื่อ 5 ปีที่แล้ว (หนังเรื่องนี้ฉายเมื่อปี 2006) เพราะหนังเรื่องนี้เป็นหนังญี่ปุ่น (แท้ๆ) และจางกึนซ็อกเป็นดาราเกาหลีคนเดียวในเรื่อง (มาได้ไงเนี่ย)

One Missed Call :Final (กดเป็นส่งตาย) เป็นภาคที่ 3 ของภาพยนตร์เรื่องเดียวกัน ที่ออกฉายในปี 2006 ภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญชุดนี้อาจทำให้คุณหวาดผวาจนไม่กล้ารับโทรศัพท์ของตัวเองเลยทีเดียว (แต่แน่นอนว่าเรื่องนี้คงไม่ส่งผลใดๆ กับจางกึนซ็อก เพราะอย่างที่เราเห็นๆ กันอยู่ว่าเขาชอบคุยโทรศัพท์เป็นชีวิตจิตใจ) ในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้จางกึนซ็อกแสดงเป็นจินู แฟนหนุ่มชาวเกาหลีของเอมิริ และไม่ต้องห่วงเรื่องภาษาญี่ปุ่นของเขานะคะ (ถึงแม้เราจะรู้ว่าเขาพูดภาษาญี่ปุ่นได้บ้างนิดหน่อยก็ตาม) เพราะเรื่องนี้เขาเล่นเป็นคนใบ้ ส่งแต่ภาษามือทั้งเรื่องค่ะ (น่าสงสารมากๆ คงอึดอัดน่าดูที่ไม่ได้พูดอะไรเลยสักคำเดียว)

To tell you the truth, I really amazed with his acting skill. He still really young at that moment (it’s before Hwang Jin Yi). Without voice communication, you have to present all your feelings through body language only, by your expression and eyes. And he can do it well, especially the last scene (I don’t tell you now what is it), his eyes can tell that he knows well what will happen !!!

I think this movie try to ask you that if you’re in the same situation. In the moment between live and death, do you dare enough to sacrifice yourself for the one you loved. Or your selfishness will overcome you.

So, if you’re JKS’s fans, you can’t miss this movie (even you can’t hear him saying a word). And I can tell you that he’s so cute in this movie. You’ll love him more^^

ต้องขอบอกตามตรงว่าดิฉันทึ่งมากกับทักษะการแสดงของเขาเมื่อได้ดูภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ เพราะในเวลานั้นเขายังเด็กมาก (เรื่องนี้ก่อน “ฮวางจินยี” อีกค่ะ) กับบทที่เราไม่สามารถสื่อสารด้วยน้ำเสียง วิธีเดียวที่จะสื่อสารได้ก็คือการใช้ภาษาท่าทางเท่านั้น นั่นแปลว่าเขาต้องสื่ออารมณ์ทั้งหมดทางสีหน้าและสายตา และเขาทำได้ดีทีเดียว โดยเฉพาะในฉากสุดท้าย (ดิฉันจะยังไม่บอกตอนนี้ว่าคืออะไรนะคะ ต้องอ่านต่อไปค่ะ) สายตาของเขาบอกอย่างชัดเจนเลยว่าเขารู้ดีว่ากำลังจะเกิดอะไรขึ้น และเขายินดีทำแบบนี้

ดิฉันคิดว่าภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้พยายามจะสื่อความหมายไปยังผู้ชมว่า ถ้าหากคุณตกอยู่ในสถานการณ์เดียวกันนี้ ในช่วงเวลาของความเป็นและความตาย คุณกล้าพอมั้ยที่เสียสละตัวเองเพื่อคนที่คุณรัก หรือว่าความรักตัวกลัวตายจะมีชัยเหนือจิตใจของคุณ

ถ้าคุณเป็นแฟนของจางกึนซ็อก ห้ามพลาดชมภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้นะคะ (ถึงแม้คุณจะไม่ได้ยินเสียงเพราะๆ ของเขาก็ตาม) และขอแถมอีกนิดค่ะว่าเรื่องนี้จางกึนซ็อกน่ารักมากๆ (ใสกิ๊งจริงๆ) แล้วคุณจะยิ่งรักเขาค่ะ รับรองได้เลย ^^

Synopsis

Asuka, a young, timid individual, is bullied by her classmates because she stood up for Emiri. After a while Asuka hangs herself but is saved by the janitor and is suffering from a concussion in the hospital. But what happens when Asuka's other self PAM begins to target those who bullied her? When they embark on a class field trip to Korea, Asuka plans revenge by sending a disturbing photo of how you will look when you get killed with the message: 'forward for death exemption.' But there's a catch you have to send it to somebody that you know and they have to be your friend.The students rush to pass the message on to save their own lives, sparking a deadly fight for survival using only their cell phones.

Emiri has a mute/deaf friend named Jinu (Jang Geun Suk) who actually knows the story behind the death calls. Both try to investigate the source of the death calls. When Emiri realises that it might be PAM, who is the other self of Asuka, she tries to beg for forgiveness to stop the classmate slaying. Asuka hinted that she has the power to send the death message through her computer. This sparked the idea to Jinu and Emiri to tell the whole of Japan and Korea to overload Asuka's email in order to jam Asuka's computer so the slayings will stop. Emiri explained to Jinu that PAM is actually SPAM but due to the flow of words pronunciation, it became PAM. Asuka's other self who causes Asuka to hang herself.

Emiri begged for the real Asuka who was actually still unconscious in the hospital. Finally after tries,she got through to Asuka. Emiri bagged and comforted the unconscious Asuka to stop everything. The confession finally woke the Coma patient. Asuka walked back home to her room only to find out that the cursor was moving on its own.

Emiri was seen through the monitor and so was Asuka. Both had an emotional moment. Asuka was soften up as soon as she saw the friendship keychain that she gave to Emiri. After the conversation, the class photo was back on and the phone connection was off. The cursor kept pointing to Emiri so Asuka tried to stop it only to be stopped by a ghostly hand. After tries, both were pushed by an invisible force into their school.

อาซุกะเป็นเด็กสาวที่มักถูกเพื่อนๆ ในชั้นกลั่นแกล้ง มีเพียงเอมิริคนเดียวที่คอยเข้าข้างเธอ สุดท้ายอาซุกะตัดสินใจแขวนคอตาย ถึงภารโรงมาช่วยเธอไว้ได้ แต่อาซุกะต้องนอนอยู่ในโรงพยาบาลเพราะสมองตาย แต่อีกส่วนหนึ่งของอาซุกะที่เรียกตัวเองว่า “แพม” ได้ออกมาตามล่าล้างแค้นคนที่กลั่นแกล้งเธอ เมื่อทุกคนเดินทางไปทัศนศึกษาที่เกาหลี แพมเริ่มส่งข้อความไปยังมือถือของเพื่อนทีละคน ข้อความก็คือ “ถ้าส่งต่อก็ไม่ต้องตาย” หากใครได้รับข้อความนี้แล้วส่งต่อให้เพื่อนคนใดคนหนึ่ง ข้อแม้คือต้องเป็นคนที่รู้จักและเป็นเพื่อนกันจริงๆ เพื่อนก็จะตายแทนคนที่ได้รับข้อความนั้น นักเรียนแต่ละคนเริ่มหวาดผวา ความรักตัวกลัวตายเข้าครอบงำ ต่างคนพยายามส่งข้อความนี้ต่อให้เพื่อนของตัวเอง

เอมิริมีเพื่อนชายเป็นชาวเกาหลี ชื่อจินู เขาเป็นใบ้ แต่เขากลับรู้เรื่องข้อความมรณะนี้ เขาช่วยเอมิริหาวิธีหยุดมัน สุดท้ายเขาก็ค้นพบว่าแพมใช้วิธีส่งข้อความผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ต เขาจึงขอร้องให้ทุกคนช่วยกันส่งข้อความเข้าไปยังเครื่องของอาซุกะพร้อมๆ กันเพื่อก่อกวนและทำให้ระบบล่ม ในขณะเดียวกันเอมิริก็ขอร้องอาซุกะผ่านจิตของแพม สุดท้ายอาซุกะก็ตื่นขึ้นมา แต่แพมยังไม่ยอมหยุดจนเอมิริตัดสินใจให้ข้อความสุดท้ายหยุดอยู่ที่เธอเอง เธอยินดีตายแทนอาซุกะ แต่แล้วแผนของจินูก็ได้ผล ระบบในเครื่องของอาซุกะล่มและทำให้คอมพิวเตอร์ระเบิด ทุกอย่างจึงจบลงตรงนั้น

Asuka was haunted by the classmates that she had murdered. Asuka realises that she has to follow Mimiko (the ghost abused girl) to stop the whole curse. When Asuka and Mimiko were prepared to jump off the school building, the death tone was received by Emiri instead. Mimiko followed Emiri then. Emiri insisted to die instead of Asuka because she regret the actions that she had done upon Asuka. Mimiko hands her the candy. Suddenly, Mimiko was fading(her figure was unstable?) because the whole of Korea and Japan overloaded Asuka's computer with spams and encouraging email to stop the killings. Finally, the computer exploded because of sudden and rapid overload and Mimiko disappears.

Emiri is back with Jinu and Asuka is back to her room.

Emiri and Jinu left the computer room into the lobby. Jinu explained his sincerity towards Emiri's courage to stop the killing. After a hug, Jinu waves farewell to Emiri. When Jinu left, Emiri realises that her phone wasn't with her so she tried to catch up to Jinu but she was too late. The hotel door was stopped by an invisible force and the death ringtone was heard. Jinu explained that he heard Emiri said 'let me be the last one to die and stop this.' Jinu doesn't want Emiri to die so he fowarded the message to himself to sacrifice for Emiri. Jinu dies in a very terrible and sad way.

Asuka and Emiri finally went to the seashore as promised. Emiri was in a wheelchair because of Jinu's sacrifice, Emiri had lost her voice and her power to walk.

จินูบอกลาเอมิริที่ล็อบบี้ เขาบอกเธอว่าถึงเวลาบอกลากันแล้วสินะ เมื่อจินูเดินออกไปเอมิริถึงรู้ว่าโทรศัพท์ของเธอไม่อยู่แล้ว เสียงโทรศัพท์ดังขึ้น จินูได้ยินที่เอมิริพูดว่า “ขอให้ฉันเป็นคนสุดท้ายและจบเรื่องนี้ซะที” เขาจึงตัดสินใจส่งข้อความมาให้ตัวเอง เขายอมสละตัวเองตายแทนเอมิริ เอมิริรอดตายมาได้เพราะจินู แต่เธอต้องนั่งรถเข็นไปชั่วชีวิตและพูดไม่ได้อีกต่อไป (ตอนจบนี้ทำให้ดิฉันคิดว่าจินูรู้วิธีจบเรื่องนี้ เพราะอดีตคนรักของเขาน่าจะเคยเสียสละตัวเองเพื่อช่วยเขาแบบนี้เช่นกัน)
