The romantic-comedy Korean drama ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’ increased its ratings over last night’s airing episodes and set to the No. 1 place with the ratings were close to 20% of viewership ratings. Due to Chuseok holiday, SBS didn’t broadcast the drama on last Wednesday, instead two episodes on September 23.
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, this ‘gumiho’ drama got a viewer rating of 15.2% for the 13th episode and 19.2 for the 14th episode.
In the same time slot, MBC had teenage romantic-comedy Korean drama ‘Playful Kiss’ aka ‘Mischievous Kiss’ with a 5.8% rating, falling a 0.5% from the last episode, 6.3%, whereas it just doubled its ratings from last week’s episodes. Meanwhile, KBS aired the ‘Baker King Special’ which scored 16.8%, much lower from its serial which broke 50% mark on the last episode.
Well, I wonder how its two last episodes of ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’ will record the ratings this week, considering KBS’s action romantic-comedy Korean drama ‘Runaway’ aka ‘Fugitive: Plan B’ starring Rain, Lee Na Young, Lee Jung Jin, and Daniel Henney, will start its runs in the same time slot next week.
