Won Bin has donated 2 billion for Japan earthquake tragedy.

According to UNICEF, Won Bin on the 17th sent a donation through UNICEF emergency relief account. Won Bin said, "I have received full of love from my Japanese fans thus I want to give some of it back".

He continued, "After the disaster it is always the helpless children who had suffered the most. I sincerely pray for the children and their families to overcome injuries and all of these as soon as possible."

On September 2007, Won Bin was appointed as a UNICEF Special Representative. He had helped China's Sichuan province in 2008. In 2009, he donated for the victims of earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia and visits The Gambia and East Timor volunteer work for the children in need.

Korean stars including actor Bae Yong Joon, Lee Byung-hun, Song Seung Hun, Jang Geun Suk, Ryu Si Won, Choi Ji Woo, JYJ, Kara, SS501 Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Seo Jin, Ahn Jae Wook, Park Shin Yang, and many more donated for the victims of earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
