Actress Han Hyo-joo is a strong candidate for director Yoon Suk-ho's new "Love Rides the Rain".
It looks like they are talking about Han Hyo-joo as the opposing character for Jang Keun-suk.
Personnel explained, "We have started wrapping things up for "Love Rides the Rain" with the casting of Han Hyo-joo. The director wanted a natural beauty actress in her mid-20s and Han Hyo-joo is perfect. It helped that she was the same age as Jang Geun-seok and she has also worked with director Yoon before".
Han Hyo-joo made her screen debut through director Yoon's "Spring Waltz" in 2006. After that she has been enhancing herself as a Hallyu Star.
"The fact that many of Han Hyo-joo's dramas have succeeded greatly in Japan also added to her being cast for this one. "Dong Yi" and "Spring Waltz" have both been rerun as well, for its popularity".
"Love Rides the Rain" is a collaboration of Yoon Suk-ho who directed "Autumn in my Heart", "Winter Sonata", "Summer Scent", "Spring Waltz" and many more and writer Oh Soo-yeon who wrote "Autumn in my Heart" and "Winter Sonata". The drama draws the story of love in the 70s that re-lives in the 2000s. The shooting starts in October and will be broadcasted in spring of 2012.
