SBS historical drama "The Warrior, Baek Dong-soo" marked its ninth consecutive win atop the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup during the third week of September.
"Baek Dong-soo," into its 22nd episode, scored an average viewership rating of 16.1 percent on TNmS' (Total National Multimedia Statistics) chart on Wednesday, the figure a decrease of 1.8 percentage points compared to the previous week.
AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that the series, starring Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Seung-ho, recorded an average rating of 15.9 percent which is also a drop by 1.5 percentage points from last week.
This week's episode focused on how Chun (Choi Min-soo) admitted to Yeo-woon (Yoo) that he was the one who killed his father.
MBC's historical saga "Gyebaek" continued to float by in second place with viewership ratings in the eight to eleven percent range.
Meanwhile, KBS, whose primetime series "Spy Myung-Wol" ended last week, showed a special Korean Thanksgiving entertainment program which featured a competition between Korean and Japanese comedians this week.
"Poseidon," starring Super Junior's Choi Siwon, actress Lee Si-young and actor Lee Sung-jae, will begin its run on KBS starting September 19.
