KBS historical series "The Princess' Man" saw an increase in ratings this week, becoming the most-watched Wednesday and Thursday primetime show during the first week of September.
Figures by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday showed that "The Princess' Man," starring Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won, recorded an average rating of 18.6 percent which is a rise of 1.6 percentage points compared to the previous week.
AGB Nielsen Media Research also revealed high marks for the show this week with an average viewership rating of 20.8 percent, showing an increase of 2.1 percentage points from last week.
This week's episode focused on how Sae-ryeong (Moon) risked her life in order to save Seung-yoo (Park).
SBS' comedy "Protect the Boss," featuring Ji-sung, Choi Kang-hee, Wang Ji-hye and Kim Jae-joong, maintained its No. 2 spot with viewership ratings in the 14 to 16 percent range on both charts.
Choi Ji-woo and Yoon Sang-hyun starrer MBC's "Hate to Lose" trailed behind in third place with viewership ratings in the six percent range.
