K-pop idol Choi Siwon of boy band Super Junior has become the first Korean celebrity to have gained over two million followers on his official Twitter account.
The star's Twitter account showed that a total of 2,020,308 are following the singer, as of Thursday afternoon, to keep track of one of top Korean celebrities' daily life.
Siwon made his debut in 13-member boy band Super Junior in 2005 and they have since produced numerous hit songs such as “Sorry, Sorry,” “It’s You,” “Rukkugo” and “BONAMANA.”
The group recently wrapped up the "SUPER SHOW 4" at the Tokyo Dome on May 12 and 13, and will revisit the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium for their "SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR 'SUPER SHOW4' in SEOUL ENCORE CONCERT" on May 26 and 27.
Outside of his group activities, Siwon expanded his career into acting by starring in "Oh! My Lady" (SBS, 2010), "Athena" (SBS, 2010), "Poseidon" (KBS, 2011) and Taiwanese series "Skip Beat!" with fellow member Donghae.
