Kyocera Osaka Dome

Dear TWSSG Thailand family,

Today is the day BYJ will meet with thousands of family in the Kyocera Osaka Dome.How all of us wish we could be there with BYJ !! Since we cannot go there, then we will occupy ourselves by reading all the information we can get about the coming event. Here is some information about the Kyocera Dome Osaka that I posted in KOB a few months ago:

Stadium Dome : Kyocera Dome Osaka
Location : 3-Naka 2-1, Chiyozaki, Nishi-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka
Opened : February 20, 1997
Capacity : 48,000

Osaka Dome is the home of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes.

Osaka Dome comprise of Takoyaki Dome and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. The capacity of the Stadium is 48,000 and more. This stadium is owned by Osaka City Dome Co., Ltd.
Osaka Dome is the native field for the Kintetsu Buffaloes. In the year of 2005, the stadium turned out to be the resident sports ground because of the unification of the Orix Buffaloes with the Orix Blue Wave. The dimension of the Dome is 100 meters to the left, 122 meters in the center and 100 meters to the right. On March 2, 2006, Kyocera Corporation captured the naming rights of Osaka Dome. The name of the dome is "Kyocera Dome Osaka (京セラドーム大阪)" from July 1, 2006 until March 31, 2011.

Music acts like The Rolling Stones, Eagles, Billy Joel, Madonna and Mariah Carey have performed large- scale concerts in this stadium.
It can be adapted for sports, concerts and other events by customizing into different shapes and sizes. Inside the arena there are restaurants and shops, which operate all year, even on no- event days. In the Simland Q Park you can experience life in space and what life would be like in a city of the future.
Osaka Dome is the best place you can think of for a family tour. The lush green fields, the flood-lights, the spirit of the game and life in the aura will make your dance in the jingle of the Kintetsu Buffaloes.

Takoyaki Dome

The exterior of the Osaka Dome looks like the shape of an octopus. The most remarkable part of the dome is the “super-ring” which is bright and exclusive.
The restaurant named as “Takoyaki Dome” resides within the periphery of Osaka Dome. Takoyaki is one of the most popular light foods along with octopus balls. Get the exotic taste of Takoyaki garnished with amazing Worcetershire sauce or mayonnaise. You can even soak your taste bud in shaved fish. It is a delight to your soul. The mouth watering authentic Japanese dishes will be nerve tickling to give you a feel of what being in paradise is all about.

Dear family, It seems if you go to Kyocera Dome Osaka, you must not forget to taste the delicious Takoyaki ! Your trip will not complete without tasting it. Remember , after that tell us here what it tastes like !!. The last artists who appeared there were Bon Jovi and Celine Dion .
