The actor has yet to graduate after 11 years of studies in the university. Eleven years in university and counting. Taiwanese model and actor Ming Dao, has been accused of hiding behind his books in order to avoid national service. A few days ago, the 31-year-old was ordered to enlist into army as soon as possible or face being blacklisted by the Taiwanese government.

The actor's managing company has denied the rumour and claimed that Ming Dao had already paid the fees for a new semester at Taiwan's Tung Nan Institute of Technology. The company also promised that the actor will enlist in 2013, after he completes all his projects.

The vice principal of the university revealed that Ming Dao has yet to graduate after 11 years of studies. The actor had reportedly accumulated six out of 74 credits. The principal said that at this rate, Ming Dao can only officially graduate in 20 years' time.

Other Taiwanese actors like Ethan Ruan, Mike He and Joseph Cheng also face taking a break from showbiz to take on army duties. Ethan has announced that he will enlist after wrapping up his new movie Love.
