[News] Kim Bum to star in new TV series with Jung Woo-sung.

Kim Bum will star in a new TV series alongside Jung Woo-sung, according to his agency King Kong Entertainment on Wednesday.
King Kong announced in a press release that Kim, who will be making his comeback to the small screen after a year hiatus, will take on the role of Lee Kook-soo in "Padam Padam" which will mark the establishment of new broadcasting station jTBC.
In "Padam Padam," written by scenarist Noh Hee-kyung and to be helmed by Kim Kyu-tae, Lee Kook-soo is the best friend to Yang Kang-chul (Jung) and believes that he is Yang's guardian angel.
The story will also focus on the love story between Yang and a bright and cheerful veterinarian named Chung Gina (played by actress Han Ji-min).
"I was instantly drawn to ‘Padam Padam’ after reading its script and I get to work with my favorite director and scenarist," Kim was quoted as saying. "I am extremely anxious and excited that I will be taking part in this series."
"Padam Padam" will begin shooting next month and air on jTBC this December.
Kim made his debut in 2006 and has starred in several dramas and movies such as MBC's sitcom "High Kick" and KBS' popular hit series "Boys Over Flowers" alongside Korean stars Ku Hye-sun and Lee Min-ho.
He last starred in MBC’s “Still, Marry Me” opposite Korean actress Park Jin-hee and have been visiting various countries in Asia for promotional events and fan meetings.
