Boy band 2PM said it is ready to provide an exciting concert for fans in Asia, after kicking off its "2PM Hands Up Asia Tour" with two concerts on Friday and Saturday at Jamsil Gymnasium in southern Seoul. A total of 15,000 fans attended the concerts.
"We will show our color and music through this concert", 2PM members said at a press conference on Friday. "We are honored to have a concert at a time when K-pop is rising".
JYP Entertainment, which manages the group, said the tour will continue with stops in Taiwan on Oct. 8 and Indonesia on Nov. 11, followed by Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and China. After touring Japan in December, the band has dates in Southeast and Northeast Asia through early next year, though those dates have not yet been confirmed, JYP said.
"We've been preparing to meet fans", the band said after its first concert on Friday. "With fans' support, we will give more dedicated and excellent performances on the upcoming tour".
