An organization named “Men of Korea” has filed a petition for ban against the film “You’re My Pet.”

On the 2nd of November “Men of Korea” released a statement on their website (http://manofkorea.com), that will force “You’re my Pet” to halt from playing in theaters which is set to be show in the 10th of November. The film is a romantic movie, story of a female portraying as an owner while male as a pet. The organization asked, what if the story was reversed, if the male was the owner and the female was the pet will it still be a romantic movie?, they end their statement with a note by saying that these kind of concepts should not be used for entertainment purposes.

The production company of “You’re My Pet” expressed their thoughts about it, “The organization don’t have the power to ban movies, so we don’t expect this will cause any delay or problem for the movie release.” Another source stated, “Seeking a ban on a movie needs more time. “You’re My Pet“ will be released as scheduled so fans don’t have to worry. This is not a movie that will damage the personality and character of males.”
