Girls' Generation member Kwon Yoo-ri is going to officially make her debut as an actress through the drama "Fashion King".

Currently shooting the drama in New York, Yoo-ri is satisfying the crew with her emotional scenes which not even veteran actors and actresses would be able to do.

Producer Lee Myeong-woo complimented her performance saying, "I was worried about the fact that the role was quite a major one for a rookie. After she was cast, we met a couple times and I advised her on acting and made her some tapes too. I can feel that she used them to study hard".

Kwon Yoo-ri said, "While I was on our Asian tour, I studied the tapes he made me so I didn't lose my senses. I wanted to try acting and I'm really happy this opportunity has come at last".

"Fashion King" is a youthful drama about young people's dreams and love. Yoo-ri takes on the role of worldwide designer Anna, who has overcame unfriendliness towards her and racism to become the best at what she loves doing.

"Fashion King" will air on the 12th of March at 9:55PM.
