MBC's "The Moon Embracing the Sun" continued its winning streak during the second week of February, nabbing its sixth consecutive win on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup.
The series, starring Kim Soo-hyun, Han Ga-in and Jung Il-woo, saw a steady rise this week with a viewership rating of 34.3 percent on February 8 though it slipped by 0.6 percentage points the following day, according to data by TNmS' (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday.
The ratings for "Moon" increased on AGB Nielsen Media's survey too, recording high ratings of 37.1 percent on both Wednesday and Thursday night.
This week's episode focused on how Yang Myung (Jung) asks Wol (Han) to run away with him after finding out that Lee Hwon (Kim) decides to sleep with Bo-kyung (played by Kim Min-suh).
Meanwhile, SBS' drama "Take Care of Us Captain" placed second on the primetime lineup with ratings in the six percentile range and KBS' "Wild Romance" held onto the No. 3 spot with ratings in the five percentile range.
