Korean-Thai Trade Volume Tops $10 Billion

Bilateral trade between Korea and Thailand reached US$10.5 billion last year, with Korean exports to the Southeast Asian country exceeding imports by $3 billion.
Thailand's Ministry of Commerce says Korea mainly shipped out automobiles, electronics and steel, while importing agricultural products and crude oil.
Analysts attribute the steep increase in trade volume to a rise in prices of steel products and growing demand for construction machinery in Thailand.
