KBS historical drama "The Princess' Man" was crowned the winner on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup, scoring its fifth consecutive win during the second week of September.
Data by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday showed that "The Princess' Man," into its 16th episode, brought in an average viewership rating of 19.7 percent which is an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared to last week.
Figures by AGB Nielsen Media Research also revealed that "Princess," starring Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won, recorded high marks with an average rating of 21.5 percent, showing a rise of 0.7 percentage points from the previous week.
This week's episode focused on how Kim Seung-yoo (Park) goes on a revenge rampage and claims that he will kill anyone that gets in his way.
SBS' comic series "Protect the Boss," featuring Ji-sung, Choi Kang-hee, Wang Ji-hye and Kim Jae-joong, held onto its position in second place but saw a slight drop this week with viewership ratings in the 13 to 15 percent range on both charts.
Choi Ji-woo and Yoon Sang-hyun starrer MBC's "Hate to Lose" ranked in at No. 3 on the primetime lineup with ratings in the five percent mark.
