Korean actor Bae Yong Joon is secretly visiting Japan and experienced traditional craftwork. The news was revealed on 5th.

who is lacquer craft artist and the curator of Iwayama Urushi Art Museum.
BYJ took the brush and worked from early morning to late night every day.

Yon-sama has a hobby of photo shooting,he is travelling in Korea to create and publish photo book, Korean guide book ”Beauty of Korea (tentative).”

BYJ is attracted to lacquer wares and wished to learn directly himself.
This experience will be introduced in the book.

During his stay, BYJ went to market and walked in city of Morioka.
He was satisfied to ride on Shinkansen for the first time which was his dream come true.

There is no open public schedule during this visit, his staying period is not determined.

His office in Japan says, “Bae Yong Joon is very sorry that he could not have a chance to send his greetings directly. However, he is sending his greetings to everyone at heart.”
