Singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon has announced his first-ever Asia tour, which will go around in 13 cities in the region.
Starting with Sendai, Japan, the Korean star is to kick off his first Asia tour titled "The Mobius Stip" on September 15, his agency Mersenne Entertainment said in a press release Monday.
Titled “The Mobius Stip,” his shows will be all held under different themes in six cities in Japan, three cities in the Great China and two cities in Southeast Asia, Mersenne officials noted.
“As much as this is his very first tour in Asia, Kim is really passionate about showing a new side of himself through the event,” the agency's official said, adding that this will provide a chance for Kim and his fans to feel more connected like the title of the show.
According to the firm, Kim has another album due out before hitting the road for the regional tour, which will be released in Korea, China and Japan on the same date.
Meanwhile, his agency previously told 10Asia that Kim will hold live concerts in Japan at the Stella Hall in Shinagawa on June 30 to comemmorate the release of his Japanese cover album dropped on May 23.
Kim made his debut as a vocalist in UN in 2000 and expanded his career into acting through a sitcom "Orange" in 2002. He later kicked off his solo singing career in 2009, which has powered him to gain more popularity in Japan.
