Hallyu Star Kwon Sang-woo and actress Jung Ryu-won chose to star in Director Kwak Gyung-taek's new project "Pain". It will crank in this coming 10th.
Hard boiled, sentimental mellow movie "Pain" draws conflicts, love and the curing process of Nam-soon (Kwon Sang-woo) a self injurer who medically can't feel pain and Dong-hyun (Jung Ryu-won) who has hemophilia and feels pain at the smallest touch.
This is a sentimental drama which draws their deep sensitivity and tears, based on the original by popular web toon writer Kang Pool. This movie created an issue from the moment director Kwak Gyung-taek held the megaphone and started planning it out.
A spokesperson for "Pain" says, "This movie will create a different meaning for those mellow love movies in which the lead male and female have "Scars". It will create a new meaning of love for the generations today who have become used to the stimulation and numb to the pain of love".
Meanwhile, "Pain" is currently proceeding with filming, being based in the Seoul and Gyung Gi area and is expected to be released later this year.
