[News] Matsuzaka Daisuke donates $1 million to Japanese Red Cross.
Matsuzaka Daisuke, starting pitcher for MLB’s Boston Red Sox, recently contributed $1 million dollars to the Japanese Red Cross.
The Japan Series Champion (2004), World Series Champion (2007), and two-time World Baseball Classic Champion and MVP (2006, 2009), has joined fellow professional baseball players Darvish Yu, Suzuki Ichiro, and Matsui Hideki (who contributed $600,000) in their contribution to the relief effort.
You can still contribute to our own relief effort, here.Source: HardBallTalk & Pete Abraham’s Twitter
