Top Taiwanese idol group Fahrenheit will hold a fan meeting in Korea this weekend, notified SM Entertainment on Wednesday.

According to a press release by SM, four-member band Fahrenheit, dubbed the TVXQ of Taiwan, will come to Korea to hold a fan meeting titled “The Heart of Asia Time for Taiwan” at AX-KOREA Hall in Seoul on June 5.

The event will feature various programs for fans including a mini-concert, talk shows, games, a Q&A session and gift presentation segment.

Farenheit will also attend a travel fair exhibition in Korea during their stay since their latest visit is part of the group’s activities aimed at promoting tourism in Taiwan as publicity ambassadors for the country's Tourism Bureau for three straight years since 2008.

Their first official fan meeting in Seoul was in late March of last year, also on the sidelines of promoting tourism in Taiwan, which Korean actress Ku Hye-sun from the hit KBS series “Boys Over Flowers” (2009) made a guest appearance for after shooting a promotional music video with the band two months beforehand.

Fahrenheit -- composed of Aaron Yan, Wu Chun, Calvin Chen, and Jiro Wang -- made their debut in September 2006 with a self-titled album released in Taiwan and mainland China.

They gained popularity throughout Asia with the success of the debut record and subsequent albums, "Two-Sided Fahrenheit" (2008) and "Love You More and More" (2009).

The four members, who have also expanded their career into acting, received the Asia Star award at the 2010 Asia Model Awards in January in Seoul alongside top Korean actor Lee Byung-hun. They were also named Best Asian Artist at the 2008 Asia Song Festival.

In Korea they are also familiar among fans through dramas “Hanazakarino Kimitachine” (2006) “Romantic Princess” (2007).
