KBS TV series "Dream High" will show on Japan's public broadcasting channel TBS starting July 29.
An official at KEYEAST, co-producer of the series, informed 10Asia of the date over the phone on Thursday.
The 16-part drama, telling of the dreams of students attending a performing arts school, will show every weekday starting July 29 at 10:05 a.m., the official added.
This will not be the first time the series will go on air in the country -- it had originally been shown on cable channel DATV in January.
"Dream High," a joint production between KEYEAST and JYP Entertainment, had fared well in Korea during its two month run in Korea starting early January and was sold to several countries in Asia.
The show has been in demand in Japan as well, apparently due to its cast composed of some of the most popular names in the Korean entertainment industry including KEYEAST founder and actor Bae Yong-joon, JYP Entertainment CEO and producer Park Jin-young, 2PM's Woo-young and Taecyeon, miss A's Suzy, actor Kim Soo-hyun, T-ara's Eun-jung and songstress IU.
Several members of the cast will visit Japan for the DVD release event of the show titled "Dream High Premium Event 2011" to be held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on September 4 while the DVD will go on sale on September 28.
