Jeon Do-yun has signed with an entertainment company that manages the career of actress Gong Hyo-jin, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Soop Management, a subsidiary company of fantagio (formerly known as N.O.A Entertainment), confirmed that Jeon signed an exclusive contract with the company.
"We will come up with the right management system to closely manage and operate Jeon's career," the C.E.O. from the agency was quoted as saying.
Jeon has received over dozens of top recognitions on both the small and big screen since her debut in 1990.
Most notably, she won the award for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007 for her role in director Lee Chang-dong's film "Secret Sunshine."
She also starred in director Im Sang-soo's modern adaptation of "The Housemaid" which was screened during a number of international film festivals last year.
Jeon is currently working on action movie "Countdown" alongside actor Jeong Jae-young. The film was recently announced to be screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
