Jung Il Woo has thought of a unique fan meeting idea. The actor, most recently of “49 Days” and currently preparing for tvN’s “Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop,” will meet his fans at a sports event to be held at his alma mater on October 9.
The event, dubbed “Body and Soul with Jung Il Woo” has even attracted overseas fans. The actor's supporters from Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand have reportedly signed up to attend the sports meet.
Local news agencies report that Jung Il Woo himself was involved in the planning of the activity as he was very excited about the concept and thought that it was a good opportunity to get closer to fans.
“I have a fan meeting every year,” the actor is quoted to have said. “This year, I wanted to make it slightly different. I hope I get to enjoy sports and be active with my fans at the same time.”
Jung Il Woo’s “Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop” will begin airing on October 31.
