Lee Da Hae appeared on this Chinese show on the evening of October 8 without any interpreters.
On this day, Lee Da Hae exhibited great talking skills and received warm praise from the production staff and emcee's of the show. Lee Da Hae pulled off girl group Sistar's "So Cool" dance moves. She also sang a song by popular Taiwanese artist, Wilbur Pan.
In order to check her Chinese skills, there was a corner where they played a Chinese character matching game and she showed her amazing language skills, which shook the hearts of Chinese fans.
Sources from the show expressed their amazement saying, "Usually, when foreign celebrities come, they need to have interpreters during the filming and many times, that cuts the flow of the broadcast. However, Lee Da Hae didn't even seem like a foreign celebrity due to her natural talking skills. She even joked around with the MC." Lee Da Hae was the first foreign celebrity to interact on the show without an interpreter.
Through this broadcast, Lee Da Hae ranked number one on a Chinese portal site. Also, because of the spiked interest from Chinese fans, the server for Lee Da Hae's official homepage's went down for a while.
Kudos to Lee Da Hae for perfecting such a difficult language! Check out the segments of Lee Da Hae on "Happy Camp." (Starting at the 10:40 mark)
