It was reported earlier that "Warrior Baek Dong Soo" would be extended from its original 24-episode run to 30 episodes. As the ratings topper for Monday-Tuesday dramas, the extension was welcomed with the assurance that the story would not lag with the extra episodes.
Now it has been reported that the drama will finish at 29 episodes on October 10, with a “special” episode airing October 11. Representatives from the production team stated that it is yet unclear exactly what form the “special” will take.
The actors and staff are currently busy filming the final episode. With a week left until the final episode broadcast date, this is great news considering current drama production conditions. Although it is sad that we will no longer be able to see Yoo Seung Ho and Ji Chang Wook in their manes of glory, it is good news to hear that these hard-working actors will finally get some rest.
“Thousand Days’ Promise,” starring Kim Rae Won and Soo Ae will air after “Warrior Baek Dong Soo.”
