Singer-actor Hwanhee will enter the military on October 27, according to his agency on Monday.

H-entercom said that Hwanhee will serve his two-year-mandatory military duty as a public service worker for 23 months after receiving four weeks of training at the Nonsan military camp in the South Chungcheong Province starting next week.

H-entercom then added that Hwanhee will meet with his fans over the weekend, the last time ahead of his leaving for the military, by holding a fan meeting in Seoul on Sunday.

"I've worked hard at my career for more than ten years and I thank you for your love...... I'll come back as a more mature and real man," Hwanhee wrote on his fan website the same day.

Born Hwang Yoon-suk, Hwanhee made his debut in R&B duo Fly to the Sky with member Brian who have released numerous albums with hit songs.

Hwanhee then began on his solo career in 2009 and branched out into acting with roles in MBC's "Over the Rainbow" and SBS' "I Love You."

He recently released his self-titled full-length album from which he had promoted the title track "Feel Like Dying."
