Jang Keun Suk is that popular?

Actors attended a press conference for KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday series "Love Rain" on March 22 at 3 o’clok in the afternoon. The conference was held at a hotel in Seoul and many fans of Jang sent bags of rice and standing wreaths to the location.

Bags of rice were piled up at the entrance

There were so many bags of rice piled up from the entrance that the hotel looked like a rice store.

According to the officials for the series, 1.5 tons of rice in total has arrived at the hotel. Most of the rice was from Jang’s 40 fan clubs. Even though 15 fan clubs of Yoona have sent bags of rice, it was only one-third of the entire rice. Fan clubs of director Yoon Seok Ho and Seo In Guk have also sent rice bags and standing wreaths.

Over 300 media outlets also came to the press conference to report on the series starring Jang and Yoona. Lots of foreign fans took pictures in front of bags or rice and standing wreaths.

The series, which will feature The innocent love of the 70s and trendy love of 2012, will start airing on March 26. Jang plays the roles of a art major named Seo In Ha in the 70s and a photographer named Seo Joon in 2012.
