[News] Korean action pic "The Man From Nowehere" to be remade in Hollywood.

Korean action pic "The Man From Nowhere," starring top actor Won Bin, will be remade in Hollywood.
According to various international media reports on Monday, Dimension Films, owned by The Weinstein Company, has acquired the rights to remake "The Man From Nowhere" and has tapped Shawn Christensen, whose works include "Abduction," to write the script.
"Man," also starring child actress Kim Sae-ron, tells the story of a reclusive former special agent (Won Bin) who befriends a young girl next door (Kim) who later gets kidnapped after her mom gets involved in a crime.
The pic has attracted over 60 million viewers since opening in local theaters in August 2010 and garnered several awards under the categories of best actor, best new actress, best cinematography and best music at the 2010 Korea Film Awards.
