Reporter : Please introduce the movie you are working on now.

Jerry : It’s a costume movie called “Lovers Are Gamblers”. It is dated back to 300 years ago and I am acting as a pirate who has a scar on his face.

Reporter : What Taiwan cuisine would you like to introduce ?

Jerry : Food made by my mum (laughs)

Reporter : Does F4 still has a chance to gather?

Jerry : Everyone is busy, seldom meet up. However, we will still contact each other through calls or messages to encourage one another.

On March 4, Jerry conducted his fans meeting sessions at Tokyo Dome City Hall. He had not conducted his fans meeting session for two years. There were two sessions, one in the afternoon and the other one in the evening. Tickets were selected randomly. Even the standing tickets which were added last minutes were sold out. This shows Jerry’s popularity is No 1 for Taiwan stars in Japan.

Upon seeing such grand crowd, Jerry was very happy. He said, “Even though its been long a long time since I seen everyone, I am very thankful to Japan fans who have been supporting me. When i saw more than a hundred fans showing up at the airport to welcome me, I was shocked”.

Reporter : We have to wait for another 2 years to see you right?

Jerry : Will not let everyone wait for so long again. I wish to have a solo concert at Japan in the future. I will want to perform many Japanese songs too. Maybe come out with with an EP in Japan.

During the earthquake, Jerry participated in fund raising activities for Japan disasters areas. Taiwan donated 20 billions, the highest among all the countries.

Jerry said when he saw the report, different people from Taiwan including him were thinking how to help the disasters areas. Those donations were from elderly to kids in Taiwan. It is the results of everyone putting out hands together to help. He was very happy for this.

Reporter mentioned that there are many Japanese who are interested in going to Taiwan recently.

He seem to have an idea and said, ” i would also like to plan an itinerary for fans. The movie I am filming now will be aired during summer tentatively. In this way, everyone can come to Taiwan to watch the movie and travel around. How about that?”



8000 fans attended Jerry’s Japan meeting session. Encourage a fan who suffers from cancer.

Jerry Yan who has been filming “Lovers Are Gamblers (Hua Yang)” recently flew to Japan for his fans meeting sessions. Even though it has been a while since he came to Japan for these activities, Japanese fans are still loyal to him. Crazy screams could be heard at Japan airport the moment Jerry Yan arrived. Tickets of the two fans meeting sessions were sold out very fast. It was a pity that there was a limited ticket . Only 8000 lucky fans could attend the venue.

At the start of the fans meting session, Jerry greeted everyone in Japanese. When asked about his injury during filming, he expressed that there were many moves for the movie and he was injured due to carelessness. However he is fine now and told his fans not to worry about him. He smiled and said that he will be careful in order not to let everyone worry.

During the fans meeting sessions, some scene from drama “My Splendid Life” was shown. Jerry said that he was happy during the filming of the drama. The female lead and him often teased and joked around with each other, A dangerous scene he remembered was a chasing car scene.When filming, he almost knocked onto the filming car in front. Everyone was frightened by it.

It was rare that Jerry displayed his culinary. To give the fans a most romantic surprise, he specially made biscuits for them. Video of him making biscuits was played at the meeting sessions. Besides focusing on making biscuits, he also making jokes.He mistook the fridge as an oven, making the fans laughed happily and keep saying “kawai” non-stop.

As Jerry has not conduct a fan meeting in Japan for 3 years, he brought along 6 personal items from Taiwan to give to his lucky fans. They include a figurine he placed in his rooms for many years, a memorable T-Shirt and jersey worn in dramas, his scarf, a thermal mug which accompanied him for work and an environmental friendly chopsticks. Fans who got those items were so happy till they were lost for words. Others fans envied and jealous of them.

Jerry sang his song “Freedom” which was recorded in his 2nd album. It was written by Fang Wen Shan and is also one of the song that Jerry love. The last part of the fans meeting sessions was for Jerry to read out his letter. He had prepared a letter beforehand and read it out in Japanese. to thank his fans who had been with him all this while. They gave him lot of motivation. The content was sincere and touching. Adding on to Jerry’s gentle voice, fans were touched by him and cried. Jerry who has always been emotional teared too.

At the 2nd fans meeting session, Jerry specially read out some encouraging words to encourage a fan who suffers from cancer and asked the fans to pray for her together. The atmosphere was touching and encouraging. Jerry is indeed the No 1 most heart warming man in the fans heart.
