[News] "Introduction to Architecture" paves the way for 2nd win on local box office.

Korean romance pic "Introduction to Architecture" made its way to the No. 1 spot for the second straight week on the local box office chart last weekend.

"Introduction to Architecture" brought in 570,917 admissions between March 30 and April 1 and proved itself as the most-watched film in the country once again, according to the KOBIS (Korean Box Office Information System).

"Introduction to Architecture," starring Uhm Tae-woong, Han Ga-in, Bae Suzy and Lee Je-hoon, is the second feature by director Lee Yong-joo.

The romance pic, which has warmed the hearts of many, tells the story of an architect named Sung-min (Uhm) reuniting with his first love Seo-yeon (Han). Sung-min rebuilds her house in Jeju island after she intentionally ask for his help in order to get back with him.

The film traces back to when both were freshmen in college, in which the younger versions are played by Bae and Lee. The two soulmates first meet in college at an architecture 101 course and Sung-min instantly falls in love with his first love.

Hollywood blockbuster "Wrath of the Titans," featuring a star-studded cast of Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Rosamund Pike, scored the No. 2 spot with 482,488 tickets sold, while the former runner-up, "The Intouchables," dropped to the third spot after attracting 315,940 moviegoers.

Other pics on the top ten include "Over My Dead Body," "Helpless," "This Means War," "John Carter," "Space Dogs 3D," "Chronicle" and "War on Crime: the Golden Age of Bad Guys."
