[News] Yoo Seung Ho Rejects All CF Offers After His Drama and Will Enlist Quietly.
Yoo Seung Ho is drawing attention for rejecting all CF love calls after his MBC drama “I Miss You” came to an end.
On January 18, Yoo Seung Ho’s sources commented, “Yoo Seung Ho has requested to be enlisted as quickly as possible after his drama was over. He wanted to enter quietly and so rejected all CF offers that came in after the drama.”
This is quite a different decision than many other celebrities who were about to be enlisted in the past. For example, Hyun Bin filmed CFs for clothing, cosmetics and food in 2011 before his enlistment and right after his drama, “Secret Garden.” Kang Dong Won also filmed a CF for coffee and Kim Nam Gil filmed a beer and credit card CF before their enlistment in the past.
Male celebrities usually decide to film several CFs before their enlistment to keep in touch with the public with their short appearances on TV.
Yoo Seung Ho’s sources also stated, “Yoo Seung Ho thought it wasn’t right to have his face air on TV while he was serving in the army. But he feels apologetic toward the advertising companies.”
They continued, “He is planning on enlisting as quietly as possible. He will give his last greetings to his parents at home and will go to the enlistment location with only his manager.” This statement also contrasts to many other celebrities who invited their fans and many media outlets to their enlistment locations.
Yoo Seung Ho’s sources added, “Yoo Seung Ho decided that it wasn’t necessary to complicate his enlistment when all the other civilians do it normally. We understand Yoo Seung Ho’s fans may want to see him enlist but we wanted to keep in consideration of the other soldiers who are to enlist on the same day.”
Usually, when a drama ends, the actors give many interviews to communicate with the fans. But Yoo Seung Ho did not sit through an interview yet. The source added, “Actors must appear before their fans with good acting. However, Seung Ho thinks his acting could improve so he didn’t want to put himself out there with the press just yet.”
However, Yoo Seung Ho has been receiving high praise for his recent role as Kang Hyung Joon in “I Miss You,” which came to an end on January 17. Yoo Seung Ho already drew eyes when he said he was giving up college for the time being to focus on his acting. His decision to enlist right away is similarly garnering much attention.
