[News] “My Daughter Seo-young,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” top PEI as in Ratings.

SBS drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and KBS2 drama “My Daughter Seo-young” recorded top places on the PEI [Program Engagement Index] research.

KBS2 drama “My Daughter Seo-young” kept the top spot on the viewer rating chart until the last episode took the top place in March, according to Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation's [KOBACO] research on PEI from March 3 to 16.

"My Daughter Seo-young," helmed by director Yoo Hyun-gi of "Brain" (KBS, 2011) centers on the love and hate relationship of a father [played by actor Chun Ho-jin] and a daughter [played by Lee Bo-young].

"My Daughter Seo-young" rated on average of PEI 135~150 from viewers of all ages except teenagers. The series recorded the rating of PEI 150 from women in 20s which is higher than 40s to 50s.

SBS drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows” shared the top place with "My Daughter Seo-young" by recording the same 104.2 PEI.

“That Winter, The Wind Blows” is a remake of the Japanese drama from 2002 “I Don’t Need Any Love, Summer” (translated title). This melodrama grew in popularity with its beautiful mise-en-scene.

Starring two top stars Zo In-sung and Song Hye-kyo, the drama is a sad love story between a gambler and a blind woman and has been earning enthusiastic support from drama lovers especially woman in their thirties.
