[News] Korea's SM Entertainment remake 'Hanazakarino Kimitachie / Hana Kimi' Korea Version.

Japan's Asahi.com reports that Korea's SM Entertainment is producing a live-action television drama with the title "Utsukushii Kimi-e" (translates as "To Beautiful You"), based on the Japanese manga by Hisaya Nakajo, "Hanazakari-no Kimitachi-e" (known in the U.S. as "Hana-Kimi").The manga has sole some 17 million copies in Japan and is set at a boys' high school, built around such themes as friendship, love and dreams. In North America, Viz Media has published the manga.
The new TV drama will consist of 16 episodes and is scheduled to start airing this summer. Casting is presently underway.
A Japanese live-action version already aired on Fuji Television in 2007 under the title "Hanazakari-no Kimitachi-e: Ikemen Paradise". ("Ikemen" refers to good-looking young guys.) In 2006, another popular television series based on the manga was produced and broadcast in Taiwan.
