Lee Byung Hun, who goes by the name ‘Byung-sama’ in Japan, donated 7 hundred million won (approximately $617,700 USD) to the victims of the recent natural disasters in Japan.
It was reported that Lee Byung Hun donated the 7 hundred billion won through Red Cross. The Red Cross is planning to use Lee’s donation plus other general donations towards Japan’s restoration funds.
Hallyu star Lee Byung Hun is known to receive top star treatment in Japan. After the earthquake hit Japan, Lee left an early message of support and encouragement for Japanese citizens through his official homepage on March 13th.
