The Chinese singer was called a ‘traitor’ by fans of Korean-Chinese group Super Junior - M. Ever since his departure from Korean boy band Super Junior, Han Geng's diehard fans and fans of Super Junior-M have never stopped bickering.
Their latest clash started when Sina Taiwan's POP Radio held their annual "Best Dance Track" online poll , inviting netizens to vote for their favourite dance track.
The poll, which went on for three weeks, attracted over thousands of netizens, and saw Han Geng's hit single My Logo leading the chart in the top three positions, beating former bandmates Super Junior-M (SJ-M).
Unhappy with the outcome, fans of SJ-M criticised Han Geng online, calling him a "traitor" and "deserter".
In response to their posting, fans of Han Geng retaliated, stating that SJ-M's recording company is a "money-sucking organisation", which "overworks its artistes" and is now "shamelessly" trying to break into Taiwanese market.
In the end, fans of Han Geng managed to crown My Logo as the chart's champion with 5050 votes, striking down SJ-M's Perfect, which came in at fourth position with only 884 votes.
Coming in second was Show Luo's Love Show with 1440 votes, while Elva Hsiao's Miss Cool grabbed the number three spot with 1038 votes. Also in the Top-10 positions are Jolin Tsai, S.H.E, and Jay Chou.
