[News] Yoon Son-ha releases new book in Japan

Yoon Son-ha has released a new book in Japan, according to a Japanese daily paper.

Sankei Sports (SANPSPO) reported earlier this week that Yoon held an opening event to commemorate the release of her new book "ユンソナの『あㆍはㆍは』な每日。" (roughly translated as “Yoon Son-ha's Ha Ha Ha Everyday” at Libro Bookstore in Ikebukuro in Tokyo this Sunday.

The book which narrates on her thoughts while managing a blog, contains various incidents from her everyday life.

“My leg is a lot better now but there are times when I walk a little funny. I’m still undergoing rehabilitation,” Yoon was quoted as saying in the paper while referring to a temporary suspension in her activities last October due to an injury in her right leg caused by a car accident.

“My son once put a band-aid on me while I slept. That motivated me even more to become healthy because I’m the one who is suppose to protect him,” added Yoon, slightly breaking into tears during the press conference held the same day.



The 35-year-old actress made her debut in 1994 through KBS TV series "Love Greeting" and has starred in several dramas including "Did We Really Love?" (MBC, 1999) and "Snowflakes" (KBS, 2001).

She has been leading an active career in Japan since appearing in NHK TV's "Mouichido Kisu" in 2000, starring alongside Kyoki Fukada in "Fighting Girl" (Fuji, 2001) and Kimura Takyua in "Good Luck!!" (TBS, 2003)

Known as Yun Sona (ユンソナ) in Japan, she has also released an essay book titled "Tokyo Sonagi," which is about her ten-year life in Tokyo and introduces some of her favorite places and stores in the city.

Late last year, she returned to Korea for first time in three years to join the main cast to KBS action suspense series Fugitive Plan B," starring other top Korean celebrities including Rain and Lee Na-young and also starred as an emcee to local cable channel TV Story On’s “Story: Zine,” a living style show for housewives.

She has also been playing one of the hosts to cable channel Olive TV’s cooking program “Food Essay” which she joined in mid-May.
