KBS' historical saga "The Princess' Man" finished its three-month run on a high note, bowing out of the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup after staying atop TV charts for the ninth straight week.
Data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday reported that "Princess," starring Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won, was the most-watched show this week after posting an average viewership rating of 23.4 percent, an increase of almost three percentage points compared to the previous week.
Numbers released by AGB Nielsen Media Research showed that the drama brought in an average rating of 24.3 percent which is a rise of two percentage points from last week's score.
The final episode focused on how Seung-yoo (Park) and Se-ryeong (Moon), who were thought to be dead, live happily together with their child.
"Glory Jane," starring Park Min-young and Chun Jung-myung, will take on the Wednesday and Thursday slot starting next week.
SBS' new historical TV series "Deep Rooted Tree," featuring Song Joong-ki, Shin Se-gyeong, Han Suk-ku and Jang Hyuk, began its run in second place with marks in the eight to nine percent mark on both charts.
Meanwhile, MBC's comedy "Hate to Lose" continued to fall behind with scores in the six percentile range.
