[News] Will No Min Woo Take the Lead in "Vampire Idol"?
Cr. - soompi
No Min Woo seems to be in popular demand on the small screen. Just weeks after being confirmed to star in “Full House 2,” reports are out that the actor-musician is being offered the lead role in upcoming sitcom “Vampire Idol.”
Local news agencies report that his management agency is considering the offer positively.
If plans push through, No Min Woo will play a vampire prince who comes to Earth with the ambition of becoming an idol. He goes through high school and has typical teenage problems, along with the struggles he encounters to become a popular young celebrity. The daily sitcom is planned to run for 120 episodes.
Veteran actress Kim Soo Mi and comedian Shin Dong Yup are already confirmed in the cast. They are set to take on the roles of a human (Kim Soo Mi) and a vampire (Shin Dong Yup) couple.
“Vampire Idol” is in the thick of preparations as it hopes to air by December 2011.
