[Photo & News] Kim Hyun-joong reveals what it takes to be K-pop act through documentary.

A documentary featuring singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong’s life as a Hallyu star will air on MBC this weekend, according to a press release by the broadcaster on Thursday.
As the first episode of MBC's special, “K-POP Star Lures the World,”(translated title), Kim's documentary will air under the sub-title “Lucky Guy Kim Hyun-joong” on April 15.
The documentary will show his life in backstage as a K-pop star, candid interviews about experiencing depression and footages of his singing career in Japan.
It will also include clips from his Arena tour in Japan as well as fan meetings and a sneak peek of the process preparing for Kim's forthcoming album.
The program aims to evaluate the potential of Hallyu phenomenon through spotlighting major K-pop artists, who are active in the country and abroad, maneuvering the early stage the cultural boom.
So far, K-pop acts who are set to appear in “K-POP Star Lures the World” are rock band CNBLUE, “Fiction” stars BEAST and teen songstress IU.
