โดยที่ทางบริษัทรถยนต์ยักษ์ใหญ่ Hyundai เป็นสปอนเซอร์ของกิจกรรมนี้ และมอบรถยนต์คันใหม่ Hyundai Sonata ให้กับท็อปสำหรับการชนะรางวัลนี้ เมื่อพิธีกรถามท็อปว่า “คุณจะใช้รถที่ชนะมาได้ยังไง” ท็อปตอบว่า “ผมยังไม่มีใบขับขี่เลยครับ..”



[New] T.O.P wins 'Hallyu Wave Popularity Award' and 'Brand New Car' at Grand Bell Awards.

The 47th annual Daejong Grand Bell Awards was held earlier today at Kyunghee University’s Hall of Peace in Seoul. The Grand Bell Awards is a prestigious Korean film award ceremony and Big Bang member T.O.P won the Hallyu (Korean Wave) Male popularity award.

As Korean car manufacturer Hyundai was a premiere sponsor for the event, a brand new Hyundai Sonata was also given to T.O.P for winning this award. When the host asked T.O.P, “How are you going to use the car you just won?” T.O.P responded, “I don’t even have a drivers license yet…”

As this award was voted through an online poll, T.O.P also thanked his fans and VIP’s for the award. He also promised to continue to study hard and improve his acting. Check out his acceptance speech below.

[News] Hwan-hee will join Japanese charity project 'Smile Project', with Bae Yong-joon and Kim Hyun-joong.

Hwan-hee decided to join Japan DATV's 'Smile Project', for which Bae Yong-joon and Kim Hyun-joong are already in.

DATV, Asia Entertainment Channel, held a project called 'Smile Project' to make kids in Asia smile. Through Knk, this project will deliver smile of hope by helping poor kids in countries like Cambodia and Philippines.

Hwan-hee, who released his second mini album, 'H-Hour', will start this project by participating in first part of 'Smile Project', 'Message! To Asia' on November 14th. He will be at the stage of Tokyo dorm with Kim Hyun-joong and Bae Yong-joon, performing a song produced by famed Japanese producer Komura Tetsuya.

One official from Hwan-hee's company said, “Hwan-hee did a lot of charity concerts so he is more than happy to participate in this project. He wants to let more and more people participate in this project so that they can learn about sharing and love.”

On the first concert from 'Smile Project', not only stars from Korea will participate, but famous Japanese singer GACKT, Taiwanese actor VANESS, Joseph Chen, SHU-I and Korean idol group 'The Boss', who will honor the opening stage.

On the other hand, Hwan-hee will also appear in upcoming daily drama, 'Hurricane Couple', trying his best to chasing two hares at once.

Paramount Pictures revives "Ghost (2010)" Japanese version :

Paramount Pictures is bringing "Ghost" back to life with a Japanese version of the romance blockbuster, becoming the latest Hollywood studio to launch a local-language production as U.S. films stumble at Japan's box offices.

"Ghost" was a smash hit in 1990 with its universal tale of a love that knows no boundaries such as real life and the after life. Swayze portrays a murdered man who must warn his loving wife (Demi Moore) that she is in danger, and it is most memorable, perhaps, for its scene of Moore making pottery as Swayze wraps his arms around her while the song "Unchained Melody" plays in the background.

The new "Ghost," which Paramount is making with Nippon TV and distributor Shochiku, is set for release in Japan this autumn. It will star Japanese actress Nanako Matsushima ("The Ring") in Moore's role and South Korean heartthrob Song Seung Heon (TV drama "East of Eden") in Swayze's part.

Paramount see local production as one strategy to build its business, but it currently does not have any other Japanese productions in the works and will first see how it goes with "Ghost".

[News] Jang Geun Suk & Moon Geun Young gets married again on ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’

The ‘Two Geun Couple’ – Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young – revealed their wedding photoshoot for upcoming drama, ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night‘. This is the second wedding pictorial released for this drama; the first was taken with the other male lead, Kim Jae Wook.

For this photoshoot, Jang Geun Suk wore a fashionable yet modern black tux; hilariously, his sullen expression places him as the most reluctant bridegroom we’ve seen yet. Co-star Moon Geun Young was primped into a mini wedding dress with a pink ribbon, and accentuated her fairy-like appearance with a tiny tiara.

After finishing the wedding photoshoot, Jang Geun Suk commented, ‘Today, the unusual Mary is very pretty. Don’t I look handsome too? We had fun filming, so I hope the viewers will enjoy watching the drama.’

Moon Geun Young said, ‘Even though it’s a different design from the last wedding dress, I like both. The hairstyles and atmosphere is also different.’
