Why TWSSG Final episode Version 2. was Unhappy..?

Now I can say I was right.

Last time when I posted about the last epi of TWSSG, there were sentences I deleted. Those were my uncertain thought about Damdok there. A picture I found at Internet made me decide to do it in the end. That picture captured YJ-ssi up close in a helmet.

When thinking it back, I made that decision so easily. Actually the truth is that didn’t change anything. I can say I was that uncertain about it and also hesitated to say that.

Enjoying the epi 24 to the fullest I had a weird feeling to see Domdek running on the horse with a helmet at the final battle scene. Domdek there didn’t seem like YJ-ssi. There was something wrong, but not big enough to tell precisely. And I’d never heard of anything about his substitute before. But I couldn’t help having that doubt. Soon I fell into the story again and forgot about it.

It was one of the pictures showed after the program that reinforced my doubt. It was another group picture different from the one taken just after wrapping up the shooting. It also had 30 or more stuff and actors and I could spot Domdek-look-like on the very left in the first row. But didn’t have a chance to see the same or similar picture to make sure since yesterday.

This is the picture I found yesterday.

We can see him very clearly in the same armor and similar hair style with YJ-ssi. Don’t you think he’d be more like a right person to take コ将軍pl*ce if needed?

I visited bb’s blog and found pictures shown after the final epi in Korea. Those are without doubt from the same series.


It may be a story that most sisters on the site where I frequent have known but to avoided talking about? But look, Director Kim Jonghak seemed openly said, “YJ-ssi was seriously injured and couldn’t walk even a single step just before about 10 days shooting left, so we needed an actor to take YJ-ssi’s pl*ce” at the NHK press conference on June 4th.

I found there were more scenes with the substitute and, oh no I missed them. I really felt ashamed of that as a one of his big fans. How about you, did you notice it? OK, those are when riding and dismounting a horse, and walking toward to Sujini showing his back to us. Or are there more?
