Ynot ออกมากล่าวเกี่ยวกับ "เรื่องลอกเลียนแบบของเพลงวง C.N.Blue"!

เมื่อวานนี้ที่ทางบริษัทเอเจนซี่ของทางวง C.N.Blue ออกมาแถลงเกี่ยวกับเรื่องการลอกเลียนแบบเพลง I’m a Loner ที่เหมือนกับเพลง Blue Bird ของวง Ynot ว่า “ไม่น่าจะเป็นไปได้”
วันนี้วงอินดี้ Ynot ออกมากล่าวเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้บ้าง แต่ในลักษณะและท่าทางนั้นแตกต่างจากคำตอบของ FNC Music
“ข่าวเกี่ยวกับการลอกเลียนแบบนั้นเป็นความผิดของนักแต่งเพลง คือ Kim Do Hoon และ Lee Sang Ho ซึ่งพวกเราหวังว่าวง C.N.Blue จะไม่ตื่นกลัวจากเหตุการณ์นี้ และเรื่องการลอกเลียนแบบนี้เป็นเรื่องระหว่างวง Ynot และนักแต่งเพลง I’m a Loner และไม่มีอะไรเกี่ยวข้องระหว่างวง Ynot และวง C.N.Blue เลย”
ทางวง Ynot ยังกล่าวเพิ่มอีกด้วยว่า
“พวกเราคาดหวังและอยากจะให้วง C.N.Blue มีอนาคตที่ยาวไกล เพราะพวกเขาต่างก็มีพรสวรรค์และความสามารถในการเล่นเครื่องดนตรีจริงๆ พร้อมทั้งยังสามารถแต่งเพลงและเขียนเพลงได้อีกด้วย พวกเราหวังเพียงว่าเหตุการณ์นี้จะไม่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับพวกเขา และพวกเราหวังเพียงว่าเหตุการณ์นี้จะไม่ทำให้พวกเขาต้องตื่นกลัว”
อย่างไรก็ตามทาง Ynot ยังกล่าวเกี่ยวกับเรื่องการลอกเลียนแบบว่า
“ถ้าเรื่องนี้ไม่ได้ตกลงกันอย่างเหมาะสมและสมเหตุสมผล พวกเราก็จะพิจารณาที่จะดำเนินเรื่องตามกฎหมาย”
ในคำตอบของทาง FNC Music กล่าวว่า ทาง FNC Music จะขอเงินค่าชดเชยสำหรับค่าเสียหาย (ภาพพจน์ของวง C.N.Blue) และที่กล่าวว่า “ถ้าทาง FNC Music จะเลียนแบบแล้ว พวกเขาน่าจะลอกเพลงฝรั่งน่าจะดีกว่า” ทาง Ynot กล่าวว่า
“พวกเราได้สร้างสรรค์งานเพลงมาทั้งหมด 13 ปี ทั้งออกแสดงและใช้ชื่อ Ynot มาตลอด ทั้งหมดที่ทางนั้นกล่าวมาไม่ได้เพียงดูถูกเฉพาะพวกวง Ynot แต่วงการอินดี้ทั้งหมดเลย ตอนนี้พวกเราเริ่มคำนึงถึงเกียรติยศของวงและภาพพจน์ของวง จากการที่ทาง FNC Music กล่าว
อย่างไรก็ตามคนที่ยกเรื่องเลียนแบบนี้มาเป็นประเด็นคือชาวอินเทอร์เน็ทที่ชี้ออกมาว่า..เหมือนกัน!!...

Yesterday, CNBLUE’s agency FNC Music, stated that the plagiarism allegations against CNBLUE’s “I’m a loner” due to its similarity to Ynot’s “Blue bird,” was “unbelievable.”
Today, indie band Ynot spoke up on the issue, in a tone and manner that was drastically different from FNC Music’s response:
“The plagiarism issues are the fault of the composers, Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho. We hope CNBLUE does not get scarred from this issue. This issue is between us (Ynot) and the composers of ‘I’m a loner’, in no way is it an issue between us and CNBLUE.”
Ynot added:
“We expect and look forward to a long career from CNBLUE, who is talented and has the ability to play instruments, compose and write songs. We hope this incident does not hinder their activities and we hope it does not scar them at all.”
However, Ynot stated in regards to the plagiarism allegations:
“If the issues are not settled rationally and appropriately, we are considering taking the proper legal actions.”
In response to FNC Music implying that Ynot just wanted “noise marketing,” that they would request monetary compensation for the damages (to CNBLUE’s image) and their statement that “if they (FNC Music) were going to plagiarize, they would’ve chosen a better foreign song,” Ynot stated:
“We have been doing this for 13 years, putting on performances and standing by our name Ynot. It is greatly insulting to not only us, but the entire indie scene for them to state such things. I am now concerned for our band’s (Ynot) honor and reputation because of the statements from FNC Music.”
Keep in mind, Ynot did not bring up the plagiarism allegations, it was netizens who pointed out the similarities. Later on when the media asked Ynot what they thought, Ynot had stated that it seems unlikely that it’s a coincidence.
Now I’m not taking sides, but Ynot makes some good points and they have taken the high road in regards to their response. A far different approach from FNC Music’s extremely defensive and offensive statements yesterday.

The band Ynot is made up of vocalist Ju Mong, guitarist Kim Dae Woo, bassist Hyun Woo, and drummer Son Marley. Ynot’s musical influence is the Red Hot Chili Peppers and they say their style is a cross between the RHC and Bob Marley. They debuted in 2001 with the album “This is the Freedom to the Power” and they have released a total of five albums. They have been together as a band for over ten years.

인디밴드 와이낫(Ynot?) 측이 자신들의 곡과 표절논란이 불거진 밴드 씨엔블루(CNBLUE)의 '외톨이야'에 대해 “창작자의 입장에서 후렴구 부분과 도입부가 대단히 유사하다는 느낌을 지울 수 없었다"고 처음으로 공식 입장을 밝혔다.
이들은 23일 보도자료를 통해 "하지만 이는 '외톨이야' 작곡가 김도훈, 이상호의 문제”라며 “씨엔블루가 상처받지 않길 바란다”면서 “이성적이고 합리적으로 해결되지 않을 경우에는 향후 적법하고 적극적인 대응을 고려할 생각”이라고 강력 대응을 시사했다.
와이낫은 “이번 논란은 '파랑새'의 작곡가인 저와 '외톨이야'의 공동작곡가인 김도훈, 이상호와의 문제이지 결코 와이낫과 씨엔블루와의 문제가 아님도 분명히 밝힌다”고 강조했다. 표절논란은 작곡가가 겪어야 하는 문제이지 가수가 겪어야 하는 문제가 아니라는 것.
와이낫은 이어 “연주실력과 작사 작곡 능력까지 갖춘, 그리고 오랫동안 음악활동을 할 것으로 기대되는 능력 있는 후배들인 씨엔블루 멤버들이 이번 논란을 통해 음악활동과 창작활동을 함에 있어 위축되거나 상처받는 일이 없기를 바란다”고 당부했다.
이들은 또 이번 논란과 관련, 씨엔블루 소속사 FNC뮤직 측의 대응에 대해 유감을 표했다. 이들은 “FNC뮤직 측이 의도적인 노이즈 마케팅으로 규정하며 보도자료를 통해 ‘흠집 내기에 대한 명예훼손과 손해배상을 묻겠다’고 한 것과 인터뷰를 통해 ‘표절을 하려 했으면 외국의 더 좋은 곡을 했을 것’이라고 밝힌 것은 13년 째 와이낫이라는 이름을 지키며 음악활동을 해 온 우리와 전체 인디씬을 얄팍하게 인지도를 올려보려는 의도를 가진 집단으로 몰아가는 것이라는 인상을 강하게 받았다”고 토로했다.
또 “이에 대해 심한 모욕감을 느끼고 있다”며 “이에 저와 저의 소속 밴드의 명예도 심하게 훼손될 수 있다는 우려도 생긴다”고 덧붙였다.
앞서 온라인 차트를 휩쓴 씨엔블루의 데뷔곡 ‘외톨이야’는 인디밴드 와이낫의 ‘파랑새’와 도입부 및 후렴구가 비슷하다는 지적을 받았다. 이에 대해 씨엔블루 소속사 측은 “어불성설”이라며 “명예훼손 등 강력대응을 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
