Daniel Henney is currently filming the upcoming action drama Runaway in Japan, and recently uploaded a photo of himself taken at a train station in Kyoto. The photo was posted to his Facebook page, with a note that he hasn’t been able to check his page frequently due to his shooting shooting, though he promised to try to keep the updates coming.
The production will also film in Tokyo and Osaka, then plans to travel to Asia, spending nearly two months overseas for location shooting. In addition to Henney, the cast includes Rain, Lee Na-young, Lee Jung-jin, and Yoon Jin-seo.
'Runaway' comes from the writer-director pair who did the hit action-sageuk series Chuno, and will premiere on KBS in September. It will be Daniel Henney’s first drama in four years, since he did the KBS series Spring Waltz, which starred Han Hyo-joo.
