นักแสดงสาวคนดัง "ลียองเอ" หรือที่รู้จักกันดีในบทบาท "แดจังกึม" ก็กำลังจะได้เป็นแม่คน หลังต้นสังกัดออกมาให้ข่าวว่า นักแสดงวัย 39 ปี ตั้งท้องได้ 4 เดือนแล้ว

"มันเป็นความจริงครับเรื่องที่เธอตั้งท้อง เรากำลังเตรียมการแถลงข่าวเมื่อถึงเวลาที่เหมาะสม" ตัวแทนของบริษัท Storm S Company ต้นสังกัดของ ลียองเอ ซุปเปอร์สตาร์แดนโสมกล่าวกับนักข่าวแห่ง Asia Economic Daily หลังมีข่าวการตั้งท้องของเธอ

มีรายงานในนิตยสารผู้หญิงฉบับหนึ่งเป็นแห่งแรก โดยอ้างคำพูดจากบิดาของนักแสดงหญิงวัย 39 ปี ที่ออกมาแสดงความยินดีที่กำลังจะได้อุ้มหลาน แม้ถึงตอนนี้ยังไม่ทราบว่าเขาจะได้หลานสาวหรือหลานชายก็ตาม

ผู้จัดการส่วนตัวยังเสริมว่า ลียองเอ คงต้องพักงานในวงการไปแบบไม่มีกำหนด เพื่อให้เวลาดูแลสุขภาพตัวเองก่อนให้กำเนิดลูกในอีก 5 เดือนข้างหน้า

นักแสดงซุปเปอร์สตาร์แห่งเกาหลีใต้มีผลงานการแสดงมาแล้วมากมายรวมถึงหนัง Joint Security Area, Last Present และ One Fine Spring Day แต่ที่ทำให้เธอโด่งดัง และเป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วเอเซียก็คือ การรับบทนำในซีรีส์ย้อนยุค Jewel in the Palace หรือ แดจังกึม

อย่างไรก็ตามนับจากหนังเรื่อง Sympathy for Lady Vengeance เมื่อปี 2005 ลียองเอ ก็ไม่มีงานแสดงใหม่ๆ ให้แฟนๆ ได้เห็นกันอีกเลยนอกจากผลงานโฆษณาบ้างเป็นครั้งคราว โดยเมื่อวันที่ 24 ส.ค. ปีก่อน เธอได้เข้าพิธีสมรสกับนักธุรกิจชาวเกาหลีวัย 55 ปี ที่ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา โดยปัจจุบันนอกจากการใช้ชีวิตครอบครัวแล้ว ขวัญใจชาวเกาหลีคนนี้กำลังทุ่มเทให้กับการศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาเอก สาขาการละคร และภาพยนตร์ ในมหาวิทยาลัยฮานยางด้วย

Actress Lee Young-ae's agency has confirmed that the heroine of smash hit TV series "Jewel in the Palace" is four months pregnant.

"It is true that she is pregnant and we were going to inform the press at an adequate time because this is when a pregnant woman is most cautious but it seems like the news has gone out through her father", Lee Ju-yeol, chief of Lee's agency Storm S Company told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Friday.

A report in the August issue of monthly magazine Lady Kyunghyang had first broken the news, quoting the actress's father who said the family recently found out about Lee's pregnancy.

He had also explained that they do not know yet whether it is a boy or a girl but both sides of her family are happy over the news.

Lee Ju-yeol added that the actress plans to halt all activities and focus on prenatal care until she gives birth.

Actress Lee, 39, has yet to make an acting comeback since getting married last August but she had been shooting television commercials while studying for a doctoral degree in theater and cinema at Hanyang University.

Best known for her role in hit TV drama "Jewel in the Palace" ("Dae Jang Geum"), Lee took all of Asia by surprise last year when she married a 55-year-old Korean-American businessman in Hawaii.
