Former Super Junior member Hangeng and Chinese actress Chang Kaitung are rumored to be dating, according to a Korean newspaper in China.
Online paper Onbao reported on Wednesday that a Chinese netizen spotted Hangeng and Chang Kaitung at Chungdu Airport and said they went on a vacation to the Maldives with Chang Kaitung's parents.
The netizen posted the information on Sunday through Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, at Chungdu Airport.
The rumor then spread fast online, along with a picture of the two celebrities taken from behind.
The report then said that Kaitung’s agency has told the media that nothing has been confirmed yet and that they are not aware of the actress' personal life at the moment.
Hangeng, who made his debut in Korea as a member of boy band Super Junior in 2005, decided to quit the team in 2009 after filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. In 2011, his departure from the group became official after settling an agreement with the agency.
Even after terminating his career in Korea in 2009 he has been pursuing a solo career in China by performing on stage and appearing on a number of Chinese TV dramas.
