Jang Keun Suk‘s hardworking and generous nature was revealed on the June 23rd broadcast of TV Chosun‘s ‘Entertainment in TV the TREND‘, which ran a special feature on the actor.
Professor Choi Young In from his alma mater Han Yang University gave details on how the actor was at school. Choi Young In revealed, “Even though he’s a celebrity, he worked really hard with the other students. He was very casual and friendly despite being a Hallyu star.”
She continued, “Over a year, he gives around 20 students 2 million won ($1726 USD) as a scholarship.”
A classmate of Jang Keun Suk also told stories about the actor’s free college lifestyle, and even revealed a clip of Jang Geun Suk and actor Ha Suk Jin dancing at a college festival.
